EGY48-LacZi Yeast One-Hybrid interaction proving kit

EGY48 yeast can be used for both haploid and diploid experiments, transforming plasmids for interaction verification or library screening tests. The selection markers are: his3, trp1, ura3. The EGY48-LacZ yeast haploid system requires the coordinated use of two plasmids, pB42AD and pLacZi-2u. The selection marker of plasmid pB42AD is TRP1, which is used to express an AD (B42AD protein composed of 88 amino acid residues from the herpes virus) fused with the target protein (Prey). The selection marker of plasmid pLacZi is URA3, and the reporter gene is LacZ. LacZ expression can only be activated when Bait and Prey interact, which turns blue on chromogenic medium, thereby confirming the interaction between DNA and protein.
