Y1HGold-pAbAi Yeast One-Hybrid Library Screening kit

The Y1HGold-GAl4-AbA yeast haploid system uses the Y1HGold strain, which is of the MATa type and can be directly transformed with plasmids for library screening experiments. The selection markers are ura3 and leu2; the reporter gene is AbAr. The Y1HGold-GAl4-AbA yeast haploid system requires the use of two plasmids, pAbAi and pGADT7. The selection marker for plasmid pAbAi is URA, which is used to express the pBait-AbAi construct (1 to 3 bait DNA sequence repeats cloned into pAbAi); the selection marker for plasmid pGADT7 is LEU, which is used to express the fusion protein of AD (amino acids 768–881 of the Gal4 C-terminal) with the target protein (Prey).
