AH109-pBridge System Yeast Three-Hybrid Interaction Verification Kit
AH109-pBridge System Yeast Three-Hybrid Interaction Verification Kit
![]() The yeast three-hybrid technique is an improvement of the yeast two-hybrid system. This system introduces the pBridge plasmid, which is characterized by its ability to insert two exogenous proteins simultaneously. The protein inserted into MCSI is fused at its N-terminus with the BD binding domain peptide fragment from the Gal4 system, while the protein inserted into MCSII does not fuse with any tag, but has a Pmet25 promoter upstream. This promoter functions only in the absence of methionine (Met), enabling the expression of the downstream protein gene, so experiments must be conducted in methionine-deficient media.
