pBI121-EGFP is a recombinant vector derived from the classic plant expression vector pBI121. Its core feature is the replacement of the GUS reporter gene in the original vector with the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) gene, while retaining the core backbone and functional elements of pBI121. It is mainly used for the visual expression of EGFP or fusion proteins in plant cells and is a commonly used tool in plant molecular biology research for tracking protein localization and analyzing gene expression patterns.
