pEYFP-Actin Vector

pEYFP-Actin is an actin-specific fluorescent labeling vector, designed to fuse the enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (EYFP) gene with the actin gene. After transfection into cells, it allows direct visualization of the actin cytoskeleton inside the cells through yellow fluorescence, enabling real-time tracking of actin dynamics (such as filopodia extension, stress fiber contraction, and cell migration). This vector overcomes the limitations of traditional actin observation methods (e.g., phalloidin staining), which require cell fixation and do not allow dynamic imaging, making it a core tool for "actin function research" in cell biology.
