pcDNA3.1-EGFP is a universal fluorescent reporter vector based on the classic eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1 from Invitrogen. Its core design integrates a 'high-efficiency eukaryotic expression framework' with an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) gene. It retains the advantages of the pcDNA3.1 vector, such as 'broad host adaptability and stable high expression,' and also enables 'visual tracking of target gene expression' through EGFP. It can be flexibly used for verification of target gene expression in eukaryotes, subcellular localization analysis, stable cell line construction, and protein function studies, making it one of the most widely used vectors in the fields of molecular and cellular biology.
