pPICZA Vector
pPICZA is a Pichia pastoris secretory expression vector developed by Invitrogen (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific). Its core design utilizes Pichia pastoris' "high-efficiency foreign protein expression system" to achieve secretory expression and screening of recombinant proteins. Its main advantages include the integration of a "strong inducible promoter, secretory signal peptide, and antibiotic selection marker," making it especially suitable for scenarios requiring large-scale production of recombinant proteins (such as industrial enzymes, medical antibody fragments, and functional proteins for research). It addresses issues of misfolding and lack of modifications that occur in recombinant proteins expressed in prokaryotic systems.
