pSiCheck-2 Vector

pSiCheck-2 is a dual-luciferase reporter gene vector developed by Promega. Its core design features the tandem arrangement of two reporter genes, Firefly Luciferase and Renilla Luciferase, on the same vector, allowing simultaneous detection of target gene expression and internal reference normalization, without the need for co-transfecting an additional reference vector. Its main advantages are simplifying experimental procedures and reducing systemic error. It is particularly suitable for validating siRNA interference efficiency, analyzing microRNA (miRNA) target regulation, and studying gene expression regulation, making it a classic tool for 'single-vector dual-reporter' experiments in molecular biology.
