Manganese peroxidase (EC1.11.1.13) is a ferrous heme containing peroxidase, mainly found in basidiomycetes, belongs to the lignin degrading enzyme family, which can effectively degrade lignin and chlorides that are difficult to degrade in wastewater and soil, azide compounds, DTT, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.
