pENTR Gateway Vector

pENTR vectors are entry vectors of the Gateway recombination cloning system. Their core function is to serve as an 'intermediate vector' for cloning the gene of interest, which can then be efficiently transferred into various 'destination vectors' through site-specific recombination (without the need for restriction enzyme digestion and ligation). This allows the rapid application of the same gene in different expression systems. The design greatly simplifies the vector construction process and is especially suitable for high-throughput cloning or studies requiring the expression of the same gene in multiple systems.
