pYES2-CT Vector

pYES2-CT is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae expression vector, specifically designed to introduce a tag sequence at the C-terminus of the target protein. It combines the advantages of an inducible promoter and a multi-tag system, and is widely used for the expression, purification, and functional study of recombinant proteins in yeast, particularly suitable for experiments that require preserving the natural structure of the protein's N-terminus. It carries an ampicillin resistance gene (Ampʳ), which allows for the selection of plasmid-containing E. coli in LB medium with ampicillin, ensuring the amplification and preparation of the vector (yeast vectors need to be amplified first in E. coli).
