pYES6-CT Vector
pYES6-CT is an inducible expression vector in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, with the core feature of adopting the tetracy regulation system to achieve precise control of gene expression, and fusing a tag sequence to the C-terminus of the target protein, which is widely used in the functional study of or highly expressed stress proteins in yeast, especially in experimental scenarios requiring strict temporal regulation. It is used to achieve the inducible expression of foreign genes in Saccharomyces cereiae, especially suitable for the expression of proteins from eukaryotic sources (yeast, as a eukaryotic organism, can provide similar post-translational as higher eukaryotic cells). The vector contains the GAL1 promoter, which is induced by galactose and inhibited by glucose, and the expression of the gene can be regulated by the components of the culture medium (expression is initiated when galactose is present and turned off when glucose is present).
