pTargetT Vector

pTargetT is a specialized sgRNA expression vector in the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing system for prokaryotes (mainly Escherichia coli). It is usually used together with a vector expressing the Cas9 protein (such as pCas9). Guided by the sgRNA, the Cas9 protein precisely cleaves the target DNA, enabling gene knockout, insertion, or point mutation editing operations. Its design is optimized for the characteristics of prokaryotes and is a commonly used tool for genetic engineering and functional studies in E. coli.
