YP/YEP with Agar Medium

YEP medium is the standard medium for maintaining and propagating fission yeast and baker's yeast, with its main components being yeast extract and peptone. YEP broth is YPD without glucose, used as the basis for mutant culture. YEPM medium is YEP medium with added maltose, which can be abbreviated as YPM medium. YEPS medium is YEP medium with added sorbitol, which can be abbreviated as YPS medium.
