10×TE Buffer（pH7.5）

This product is a 10×TE Buffer (pH 7.5) composed of 100mM Tris and 10mM EDTA, which has undergone filtration and sterilization treatment. It can be formulated into 1.1×TE/LiAc or PEG/LiAc solutions for the preparation and transformation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae competent cells. The Li⁺ ions in LiAc alter cell membrane permeability, facilitating the formation of competent cells to enhance the absorption of exogenous DNA. PEG protects the cell membrane in high-concentration LiAc environments, reducing excessive membrane damage caused by LiAc while promoting tighter plasmid-cell membrane contact. The TE buffer provides a stable pH environment.
