Phosphoenol pyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) Assay kit

PEPCK (EC 4.1.1.32) is widely present in animals, plants, microorganisms, and cells, catalyzing the conversion of oxaloacetic acid to phosphoenol-pyruvate, and is a key enzyme that regulates gluconeogenesis pathways.

PEPCK catalyzes the formation of phosphoenolpyruvate and CO2 by oxaloacetic acid, and pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase further catalyze the oxidation of NADH to NAD+.
