Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) Assay kit

ACC catalyzes the carboxylation of acetyl-CoA to malonyl-CoA in organisms, which is a key enzyme for the synthesis of fatty acids and many secondary metabolites. The activity of ACC determines the synthesis rate and oil content of fatty acids to a certain extent.

ACC can catalyze the formation of malonyl-CoA, ATP and inorganic phosphorus by acetyl-CoA, NaHCO3 and ATP, and ACC activity is determined by ammonium molybdate phosphoriophosphorus.
