Acyltransferase (AAT) Assay kit

AAT is a family of multifunctional proteins, which are mainly responsible for catalyzing various acylation and deacylation reactions in organisms, and play an important role in gene expression, metabolism and signaling.

AAT catalyzes the transfer of acetyl groups to butanol groups, and the released CoA reduces DTNB to TNB. TNB had an absorption peak at 412 nm, and the AAT activity could be calculated by measuring the absorbance increase rate at 412 nm.
