TG is a fat molecule formed by long-chain fatty acids and glycerol, which is not only a major component of cell membranes, but also an important respiratory substrate.

TG was extracted by isopropyl alcohol, TG was hydrolyzed by lipoprotein esterase to produce glycerol and fatty acids (FFA), glycerol and adenosine triphosphate were catalyzed by glycerol kinase and phosphoglycerol oxidase to produce H2O2, and peroxidase catalyzed hydroxide to oxidize 4-aminoantipyrine conjugate phenol to form colored compounds with a characteristic absorption peak at 505  nm.
