Phospholipase D (PLD) Assay kit
Phospholipase D (PLD) Assay kit
Phospholipase D (EC3.1.4.4), also known as phosphatidylcholine hydrolase, is a general term for a class of enzymes that catalyze phosphodiester bond hydrolysis and base exchange reactions, which are widely present in a variety of organisms such as higher animals, plants and bacteria, and have physiological functions such as anti-stress stress in cell lipid metabolism, signal transduction, and biofilm formation. Phospholipase D catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidyldiester bonds at the end of phosphatidylcholine to produce phosphatidic acid and choline, choline is catalyzed by choline oxidase to form betaine and hydrogen peroxide, and hydrogen peroxide oxidizes 4-aminoantipyrine and resteamphenol into pink matter under the action of catalase, with a characteristic absorption peak at 500nm.
