Brinell broth

Brinell broth is a nutrient-rich universal liquid medium, especially suitable for the cultivation of fastidious microorganisms (such as Campylobacter and Brucella). Its basic components include casein trypsin digest, animal tissue hydrolysate and yeast extract, providing comprehensive nitrogen source, vitamins and growth factors; Glucose is used as a fermentable carbon source. This culture medium can be used as basic culture medium, and blood, serum or specific selective antibiotic supplements can be added as required. It is widely used for enrichment culture of clinical pathogenic bacteria, microbial detection of aseptic products and proliferation of micro-aerobic bacteria, and has good buffering performance and nutritional support ability.
