p438-RFP is a type of eukaryotic expression vector with the red fluorescent protein (RFP) as the reporter gene which is widely used in plant cell biology and molecular biology research. Its core design is to fuse the target gene with RFP, and use the red fluorescent signal to track protein expression localization and dynamic changes, especially suitable for live cell imaging and multi-color fluorescent experiments. With the excellent optical characteristics of RFP variants and flexible vector design, p438RFP has become the preferred tool for protein visualization research, especially in experiments requiring high signal-to-noise ratio, deep tissue observation or multi-molecular co-localization.
