pMetYC-GW vector is a kind of bait vector commonly used in the yeast two-hybrid system for membrane proteins, which is mainly used to study interaction between membrane proteins, organelle proteins and secreted proteins. This vector uses Gateway cloning technology and the bait gene is expressed under the control of the methionine-def. According to the relevant literature, the commonly used host bacteria of pMetYC-GW vector are THY.AP4 and THY.AP5.
