pDEST-GADT7 is a Gateway-compatible vector specifically designed for yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) experiments. Its core function is to enable rapid fusion expression of the target gene with the GAL4 transcription activation domain (AD) through Gateway recombination technology, serving as a "prey" vector for detecting protein-protein interactions. This vector combines the convenience of Gateway technology with the specificity of the yeast two-hybrid system and is widely used for screening, validation, and studying the interaction mechanisms of proteins.
