pDEST-GBKT7 is a yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) bait vector used in pair with pDEST-GADT7. Its core function is to fuse the target gene with the GAL4 DNA-binding domain (BD) via Gateway recombination technology, serving as a "bait" vector to capture interacting "prey" proteins. It is widely used for screening and validating protein-protein interactions and is particularly suitable for high-throughput experimental design.
