pEarleyGate201-YN Vector

pEarleyGate201-YN is a commonly used bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) vector for studying plant protein interactions. It belongs to the pEarleyGate series of vectors. Its core function is to fuse the target gene with the N-terminal fragment of yellow fluorescent protein (YN) via Gateway recombination technology and pair it with vectors carrying the C-terminal fragment of YFP (YC), such as pEarleyGate202-YC. This allows direct visualization of protein-protein interactions within plant cells through fluorescence complementation and is widely used for in vivo interaction verification in plants like Arabidopsis and tobacco.
