pEarleyGate202-YC Vector

pEarleyGate202-YC is a bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) vector designed to be used in conjunction with pEarleyGate201-YN. Both belong to the pEarleyGate series. Its core function is to fuse the gene of interest with the C-terminal fragment of yellow fluorescent protein (YC) through Gateway recombination technology. When co-expressed with a vector carrying the N-terminal fragment of YFP (YN), if the two proteins interact, YN and YC reconstitute into a functional YFP and emit fluorescence, allowing direct observation of protein interactions in plant cells. It is one of the essential tools for studying plant protein interactions.
