p2YN Vector

p2YN is a binary vector for BiFC assay commonly used in plant protein interaction research. Its core function is to express the target gene fused with the-terminal fragment (YN) of yellow fluorescent protein (YFP) through molecular cloning technology. When paired with a vector carrying the C-terminal fragment (YC) of Y (such as p2YC), it can intuitively detect the interaction between proteins in plant cells through the phenomenon of fluorescence complementation. It is widely used in the verification of vivo interaction in plants such as Arabidopsis thaliana and Nicotiana tabacum.
