p2YC dual-expression vector

p2YC is a binary vector for BiFC commonly used in plant protein interaction research. Its core function is to express the target gene fused with the Cterminal fragment (YC) of yellow fluorescent protein (YFP) through molecular cloning technology. When paired with a vector carrying the N-terminal fragment (YN) of YFP (such as p2YN), it can intuitively detect the interaction between proteins in plant cells through the phenomenon of fluorescence complementation. It is widely used in the verification of vivo interaction in plants such as Arabidopsis thaliana and Nicotiana tabacum.
