pESC-Leu Vector

pESC-Leu is a double operon expression vector for Saccharomyces cerevisiae, with the core feature of containing two inducible promoters, which can simultaneously regulate the expression of two exogenous genes in the same cell. It is widely used in protein interaction studies, metabolic pathway reconstruction, and the analysis of multi-subunit protein complexes. Its design balances the flexibility of inducible regulation and the efficiency of co-expression, making it an important tool in yeast molecular biology and biology research. It carries the ampicillin resistance gene (Ampᵣ), which is used to screen E. coli containing the plasmid in LB medium containing amillin, ensuring the amplification and preparation of the vector.
