pRS426gal is an expression vector in Saccharomyces cerevisiae based on the backbone of the pRS series vector, and core feature is that it contains a galactose-inducible promoter, which can achieve the inducible expression of the target gene in S. cerevisiae, and is also compatible with the plasmid amplification in E. coli. It is widely used in yeast gene function research, protein expression and metabolic pathway regulation analysis.
