Ycplac33 Vector
Ycplac33 is a representative member of the yeast centromere plasmid (YCp) series of vectors, belonging to the low-copy vector between Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Escherichia coli. Its core feature is that it can stably exist as a single copy in yeast and replicate amplify in E. coli, making it suitable for experiments that require simulating the expression level of endogenous genes (such as gene functional complementation experiments, dosage-sensitive protein), and it is widely used in yeast molecular genetics.
