pGADT7-Rec2 is a core vector in Clontech's yeast two-hybrid system (such as Matchmaker Gold). It is an activation domain (AD) expression vector used together with a DNA-binding domain (DBD) vector (such as pGBKT7) to construct cDNA libraries or clone prey genes for screening and validating protein-protein interactions. It is widely used in proteomics, signal pathway analysis, and functional genomics research. pGADT7-Rec2 is an efficient tool vector for constructing prey libraries and verifying protein interactions in the yeast two-hybrid system. Its Rec2-mediated in vivo recombination function greatly simplifies the cDNA library construction process, and its high-copy expression characteristics enhance the sensitivity of interaction screening, providing strong technical support for protein-protein interaction studies.
