Acid Phosphatase (ACP) Detection Kit
Acid Phosphatase (ACP) Detection Kit
Under acidic conditions, acid phosphatase (ACP) catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphomonoesters into inorganic phosphate. It is commonly found in the lysosomes of macrophages. ACP is often used for the auxiliary diagnosis of prostate cancer. This kit provides a simple and rapid method for ACP detection. The detection principle is as follows: in an acidic environment, ACP catalyzes the hydrolysis of disodium p-nitrophenyl phosphate to produce p-nitrophenol, which has a characteristic light absorption at 405 nm; the activity of ACP is calculated by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at 405 nm.
