Alkaline Phosphatase (AKP/ALP) Detection Kit
Alkaline Phosphatase (AKP/ALP) Detection Kit
Alkaline phosphatase (AKP/ALP) is a zinc-containing glycoprotein enzyme that can hydrolyze various naturally occurring and synthetic phosphomonoester compounds in an alkaline environment.AKP/ALP is widely distributed in various organs of the human body, with the liver being the primary site. This kit provides a simple and rapid method for AKP/ALP detection. The detection principle is as follows: in an alkaline environment, AKP/ALP catalyzes disodium phenyl phosphate to produce free phenol; the phenol then reacts with 4-aminoantipyrine and potassium ferrocyanide to form a red quinone imine derivative, which has a characteristic light absorption at 510 nm. The activity of AKP/ALP is calculated by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at 510 nm.
