pSPYNE Vector
pSPYNE is one of the core vectors in the Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation (BiFC) system in plants. Used in conjunction with pSPYC (C-terminal vector), it fuses the N-terminal fragment of the yellow fluorescent protein (YFP) with the target protein. When two interacting proteins carry YN and YC (C-terminal fragment of YFP) respectively, the fluorescence signal is reconstituted, visually displaying the interaction and localization of proteins within plant cells. It is widely used for in vivo visualization studies of plant protein interactions.
