pML104 Vector
The vector belongs to the CRISPR/Cas9 Saccharomyces cerevisiae gene editing system, and its core structure contains the Cas nuclease encoding gene (driven by the GAP promoter) and the single guide RNA (sgRNA) expression cassette (regulated by the SNR52 promoter). By the guide sequence targeting a specific gene into the sgRNA expression cassette, it can guide the Cas9 protein to produce double-strand breaks at the target site in the genome, and then introduce gene mutations through the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) or homologous recombination (HR) mechanism. It is suitable for point, gene knockout and base editing in Saccharomyces cerevisiae gene function research.
