pCAMBIA1301-35S (GUS replaced with GFP)Vector
pCAMBIA1301-35S (GUS replaced with GFP)Vector
This vector belongs to the plant fluorescent reporter system, modified based on pCAMBIA1301. It retains core elements such as the original CaMV 35S promoter and NOS terminator, while replacing the β-glucuronidase (GUS) gene with the green fluorescent protein (GFP) gene. GFP is constitutively expressed under the drive of the 35S promoter, serving as a visual reporter gene to track the expression, distribution, and transformation efficiency of the vector in plant cells. It can also be used to study the subcellular localization of target proteins by constructing fusion genes. Compared with the enzymatic colorimetric detection of GUS, GFP offers advantages of real-time and non-invasive observation, making it suitable for dynamic analysis of plant gene expression, visualization of cell structures, and in vivo imaging studies.
