pEarleyGate203-YC(MCS) Vector

This vector is a C-terminal vector of the plant Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation (BiFC) system, carrying the coding sequence of the C-terminal fragment (YC) of yellow fluorescent protein (YFP). It contains a multiple cloning site (MCS) upstream of YC, allowing insertion of target genes to construct a fusion protein expression cassette with YC, which is constitutively expressed under the drive of the CaMV 35S promoter. In BiFC experiments, it needs to be co-transformed into plant cells with a complementary vector carrying the N-terminal fragment (YN) of YFP. When the two target proteins interact, YC and YN can reconstitute an active YFP, producing fluorescent signals to intuitively detect protein-protein interactions. It is suitable for in situ observation of protein interactions in plants, analysis of interaction sites, and research on dynamic interactions.
