30% GaGalactose-raffinose Solution (Gal:Raf = 2:1)

30% Galactose and raffinose solutions are strictly filtered and sterilized, and can be stored at room temperature for 1 year without, providing a carbon source for yeast growth. It is mainly used for the screening and expression culture of nutritional defective yeast, especially for the expression culture of Saccharomyces cerevise. This series of carbon source solutions is a 10 times mother liquor, and enough volume should be reserved when preparing the culture medium.
