Dihydroflavonol Reductase (DFR)Assay Kit
Dihydroflavonol Reductase (DFR)Assay Kit
Dihydroflavonol reductase, namely dihydroflavonol 4-reductase (DFR), is a key enzyme in the plant anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway. It can catalyze three types of dihydroflavonols to produce different anthocyanin precursors. Therefore, DFR determines the type and content of anthocyanins in plants, thereby affecting the color of plant tissues or organs. DFR, NADPH, and three types of dihydroflavonols react to generate anthocyanin precursors. NADPH has a maximum absorption peak at 340 nm. The activity of DFR can be determined by detecting the rate of change of NADPH at 340 nm.
