Flavonoid glycosyltransferase (UFGT) detection kit
Flavonoid glycosyltransferase (UFGT) detection kit
Flavonoids are plant secondary metabolites. Glycosylation is one of the most important modification reactions for the formation of the basic structure of flavonoids, which improves the chemical stability of flavonoid aglycones. This process is mainly catalyzed by flavonoid glycosyltransferases, which facilitate the reaction between flavonoid-OH and UDP-glucose (UDPG). Flavonoid glycosyltransferases are key enzymes in the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway. Flavonoid glycosyltransferases catalyze the reaction between anthocyanidins and uridine diphosphate glucose (UDPG) to produce anthocyanins, which mainly exist in the form of cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G). The enzyme activity of flavonoid glycosyltransferases can be reflected by detecting the product using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
