Formaldehyde Dehydrogenase (FDH) Assay Kit 

Formaldehyde dehydrogenase is present in most prokaryotes and all eukaryotes, and it is an oxidoreductase that converts formaldehyde. Formaldehyde dehydrogenase can catalyze formaldehyde and NAD⁺ to produce NADH, which leads to an increase in absorbance at 340 nm. The activity of formaldehyde dehydrogenase can be calculated by measuring the change in absorbance at 344 nm.
