The vector belongs to the plant reporter gene expression system, carrying the reporter gene β-glucuronidase (Gus) and the MASpro, which initiates the expression of the Gus gene. The multicloning site allows the insertion of the target gene sequence. The Gus enzyme can catalyze the substrate to a blue product, which is used to locate the expression site through histochemical staining, and is suitable for the analysis of plant gene expression patterns.
