KEA agar (sugar-free)

KEA agar (sugar-free) is a basic medium for microbial sterility test and growth ability inspection. Its ingredients include casein trypsin digest and yeast extract, which provides a balanced nitrogen source, vitamins and growth factors and does not contain any carbohydrates. The design aims to support the growth of a wide range of microorganisms, while avoiding the influence of pH change caused by acid production by sugar fermentation on the interpretation of results. By observing the growth of microorganisms (such as turbidity, precipitation or biofilm) in pure nutrient environment, the culture medium is used for aseptic inspection of injections, medical devices and other products and for the verification of growth promotion test of the culture medium.
