pLexA-53 Vector
pLexA-53 is based on the pLexA backbone, carrying the LexA DNA binding domain (BD) coding sequence and human p53 protein coding gene, which can stably express the "LexA BD-p53" fusion protein. In the yeast two-hybrid system, p53 protein specifically interacts with the known SV40 large T antigen. When this vector is co-transformed into yeast with a vector expressing "activation domain (AD)-SV40 large T antigen" fusion protein (such as pB42AD-Tag), it can activate the expression of reporter genes (such as lacZ), serving as a positive control to verify the effectiveness of the two-hybrid system and the accuracy of protein interaction detection.
