YPRAA Medium (with Antimycin A)

YPRAA medium is used to detect whether the signal peptide in the yeast expression system has a secretory function. YPRAA medium contains two parts YPRAgar medium and Antimycin A. YPRAgar medium consists of 1% yeast extract, 2% peptone, 2% cottonseed, and 2% agar powder. Antimycin A is an antifungal agent, which is dissolved in methanol, filtered and sterilized, and the of the medium is generally 2μg/mL.
