YPR Agar Medium (without Antimycin A)

YPR Agar medium contains 1% yeast extract, 2% peptone, 2% cotton-seed sugar, and 2% agar. It is usually used in combination with Antimycin A to form YPRAA medium. YPRAA medium is used to detect whether the signal peptide in the yeast system has a secretory function.
