The detection kit of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I/NADH-CoQ reductase activity adopts the principle of ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and accurately quantifies the enzyme activity of complex I by monitoring the decrease rate of NADH absorbance at the wavelength of 340nm. The kit contains detergent solubilized mitochondrial membrane protein, coenzyme Q10 analogue and rotenone inhibitor, which can specifically detect the function of NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase. The detection sensitivity is 0.01 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of oxidative phosphorylation of tissue homogenate and cell extract, and provides a reliable tool for the mechanism analysis of mitochondrial diseases and metabolic dysfunction.
