The detection kit of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex II/succinic acid-coenzyme Q reductase activity adopts the principle of ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and accurately quantifies the enzyme activity of complex II by monitoring the decrease rate of absorbance of 2,6- dichloroindophenol at 600nm wavelength. The kit contain succinic acid substrate, coenzyme Q analogue and thienyltrifluoroacetone inhibitor, and can specifically detect that function of succinic acid: ubiquinone oxidoreductase. The detection sensitivity is 0.008 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of tricarboxylic acid cycle in tissue homogenate and cell extract, and provides a reliable tool for the analysis of hereditary mitochondrial diseases and tumor metabolic mechanism.
